Well, you can't but you could put a trap on a stand at Recording Studio London, and we have stands for all of our panels, but in this case it gets really old pretty quick if you have to pick up the bass trap and move it every time you want to go in and out of the door. So, instead we recommend the mini trap. You could put a mondo trap on the door, and these are solid core doors hung with three hinges.

A mini trap weighs 18 pounds; the mondo trap weighs 28 pounds. A mini trap is a very good bass trap, especially when it's mounted spaced off the wall. This was mounted with our post base kit so it's spaced off three inches. It's equivalent to a much, much thicker trap, but it's not so heavy that there's a fear of the door sagging, and it goes with the door. It's absolutely solid; door opens, closes and it's always there. It doesn't shift around, and you can't slide it around initially to get it exactly to the right place and it stays. That's the beauty of the post base kits.
